Default does a body kit on a civic hatchback ( 92 cx stock ) get scratched on bumps? er do i have to go...

...around the bum does a body kit on a civic hatchback ( 92 cx stock ) get scratched on bumps? er do i have to go around bumps or at an angle or anything cuz id hate that ?

It all depends on how big the body kit is, how big the bump is and how fast you are going. A stock one unless you have a gay rice bumper it shouldn't. But be smart about the bumps. A speed bump shouldn't faze it any. And unless you are using it as a show car don't be too scared about scuffing the under part. Be careful on bigger bumps because if you are going fast and it does hit it could rip the bumper off. Good luck.

If you value a vehicle you will avoid bumps and potholes, slow down so you can move around them. Pretend you have your grandmother with you and you are showing her how careful a driver you are.

yes it will scratch.dont go over them straight on, go over then at a 45 degree angle

If the car is otherwise stock, you shouldn't have a problem. If you lower the car, then with most body kits, you're very likely to hit. Definitely depends on how bug the bumps are, how deep the pot holes are, and how steep the incline is. My friend use to have a body kit on his 4dr, and would only scrape it going into his driveway; unless he went at an angle.
