Depends on the trim level. The motor is a F22a. If it's a dx/lx you have a F22a4. If you have an ex you have an F22a6. Let's assume you have a LX model. First upgrade you want is the a6 Intake Manifold/Plenum & Throttle body. Also an a6 cam. Throw on some bolt on's. CAI/SRI Header and Exhaust. If you have an auto transmission swap to a manual. If gas mileage isn't a factor and you want to drag get a H22 trans. If you want the best of both worlds get a h23 trans. Yep it's possible.....if you don't want to spend that much money on the motor just get the basic aftermarket bolt-ons such as headers, exhaust, and intake.....

define faster?? first you should take a compression test , just to see where your motor stands at this point. being that is a 93 , chances are that you have some miles on it already. is really useless if your motor is tired.
