what exactly is the difference between the 2008 honda civic si sedan, and the regular 2008 honda civic sedan?they look the same to me, but im sure that somewhere along the line they have their differences.

civic si sedan comes only with 6-speed manual transmission whereas the regular civic has both the 5speed manual transmission and automatic. the si has more horsepower also

The Si is the top of the line civic, while as a "regular" ex. LX, EX, GX, Hybrid etc. is not. The "regular" civics have a K18 or a 1.8L motor, while the Si only had a 6 sp manual transmission with a K20 (2.0L DOHC i-VTEC) (rsx-s engine.) Si has more horsepower, and insead of having blue lights inside, it's red. Also has more options. Hope this helps. :]

The Si has the K20 and the Ex has a R18 sohc. You will be perfectly happy with any Civic you buy. Test drive and buy accordingly. Happy shopping
