help, i'm graduating high in 2008. i want to go to college for cars.i want to test out cars for honda like performance and stuff. how do i do this? what do i need to go to college for? what degree should i aim for for this? is it possible with a associates?what about a automobile mechanic, what do you guys think about this profession?also can you TELL ME EVERYTHING about how to reach my goal. besides telling me oh just work hard, oh stay in school, oh go to college. i'm not that stupid lol. =P can you tell me something more like more in depth, thanks!jdb what kind of engineering? more information please!

Why don't you go to a Honda dealer and tell them what you are interested in what they do and they can walk you through their steps and put you in the right direction. They do have automechanics trade schools.

I will only answer the part that I think that I can be helpful. I think Honda is one of the greatest companies on the planet. I wish you luck in getting a job with them. I loved cars when I was a teenager. I went to Vo-tech, had a bunch of muscle cars, and got a job as a mechanic right after high school. I did that for 4 years and grew sick of it. I got tired of always being dirty and busting up my hands. Working on cars is okay as a hobby, but for a living it is not for me. I ended up going back to college for Engineering and I could not be happier with my current career. Engineering is not an easy major, but it will pay dividends for the rest of your life.
