Why don't you go to a Honda dealer and tell them what you are interested in what they do and they can walk you through their steps and put you in the right direction. They do have automechanics trade schools.

I will only answer the part that I think that I can be helpful. I think Honda is one of the greatest companies on the planet. I wish you luck in getting a job with them. I loved cars when I was a teenager. I went to Vo-tech, had a bunch of muscle cars, and got a job as a mechanic right after high school. I did that for 4 years and grew sick of it. I got tired of always being dirty and busting up my hands. Working on cars is okay as a hobby, but for a living it is not for me. I ended up going back to college for Engineering and I could not be happier with my current career. Engineering is not an easy major, but it will pay dividends for the rest of your life. This is my suggestion. Good luck.
