Yes they are!! They are very reliable cars and the 2008 has a much better body design then they have had in the past. Plus they dont require alot of maintenance. Just look at all the old and new hondas on the road. That speaks for itself! Good Luck Car Buying!http://automobiles.honda.com/tools/b...CR-V&YEAR=2008

All Hondas are good cars, but when buying a CRV,make sure the VIN starts with the letter J (Japanese built) or 1 (US built).Stay away from ones that the VIN starts with S (UK built)

its a good suv... my dad has 1 from 2003or4... he had no trouble with it... the only thing is if u have a honda's alarm system put on...the alarm turns on in like 30 or 45 seconds... n the problem is if the back door/the drunk door is open the alarm will turn on (sumtimes u can turn it off / sumtimes u cant) n wen u shut the door the alarm will start blasting... then u cant turn it off til it stops by itself... this happened to us a lot of times... its a very good suv i like it a lot

I had a 2000..., and it started coming apart before the warranty had expired. I used to be a hard-core honda fan for decades but lately their quality sucks. Neverthelss, we still have two (out of five) in the family, and one is a month old - these new civics are so beautiful that I couldn't resist and took a chance. But the crv - I replaced it with a 4Runner after the trans started making noise - stick + made in Japan !!!! - and honda refused to assist with repairs. I normally only let people scew me once.

crv has been cited as one of two cars that regularly will go 250,000 miles. The other is a Civic.

my dad has a honda crv lx 2002. it's a nice car. it dosen't have much torque and it's got quite a bit of road noise, otherwise it's a good choice. Consumer Reports recommended, reliability, vtec, japanese, it's a good car.

Hummm....the CRV isn't bad except for the fact that since it is an All Wheel Drive, the gas mileage isn't that great. A mini SUV good for the city or country settings. Off roading? Not a chance! Had one for a while but sold it. Rides like a truck! My old Nissan Pathfinder (Terrano) had a much smoother and comfortable ride. Body style: The 1sr generation CRV was cute. The 2nd generation was clunky and the 3rd generation is gorgeous except that it's more electronic than it is mechanical.
