I did not tint my front headlights. I took out the whole headlight assembly. Got an old hairdryer and about 4-5 flat head screwdrivers that I didnt need. The glue that seals the headlights together, has a melting point...heat it and pry it with screw drivers. Once you get 1 screw driver in, the rest gets much easier to pry open. Be carfull not to get the melted glue from the screwdriver, into the main housing. It can get messy if your not carefull.I think it comes apart in 3 main pieces. I painted the silver piece black with automotive paint from PepBoys. Then I took out the yellow reflector, and got a silver vinyl sticker to cover it. Used an xacto blade to cut the excess vinyl off from the reflector.I let everything dry for one day. The paint relases fumes as it dries for the next couple of days, so you do not want to do this on a cloudy day...Nor do you want to seal it back together right away. Do it so that it gets dried completely with heat lamps, or a full day of sunlight. The next day I put everything back together. I squeezed the housing back to gether, as I applied heat from the hairdryer. The same glue melted everything back together and sealed it completely. If you cant get it sealed correctly, then go to a Home Improvement store and pick up a small silicone tube.(make sure its for the exterior and works to seal moisture - found where bathroom caulking or window sealant aisle is). Just apply this where you thing the glue did not become sealed. That's how I got black housing headlights, and a silver reflector. Took me a day. (tip: I saved up money on the side, incase i mess up, and need to buy new headlights). For the tail lights. They sell pre-cut tint. It comes about an inch short all the way around. You spray the tail light with soapy water and put the tint film in the center or slightly towards one side, but not all the way to one side. You stretch and squeegee (should be supplied) the water out, and it should stick to the lense. This is tough, and I needed 2 other helping hands to stretch the film as I squeegged it. The first tailight took about an hour. Kept messing up...so I'd have to peel off and keep re-applying. the second light took about 30min. Try not to scrub too hard with the squeegee...scratch marks due show up if you apply too much presure from the squeegee. There is also some tint paint out there..havnt used it so I dont know how that works..or if it fades in the sun. Hope this helps...Good luck.

u can buy sheets of tinted film on ebay. they are cheep. proboably no more than $20. all u have to do is lay it on the lense of the light housing and use a razor blade to cut it out... presto .. you have tinted lights... dont bother taking apart your housings.. thats just a huge waste of time, and if u screw anything up ur onnahave to buy a whole new housing.... its not worth the risk
