Default 2001 Honda Civic Air not blowing at all. It did work off and on, now stopped at all!?

About a year ago the air started not working sometimes. Then it was fine for a few months and now it has stopped and not worked for some time. What could the problem be??

Well, you bought a HONDA! That is what's wrong!!!! BUY AMERICAN! Ok, so really your blower is out. That could cost anywhere from $100 to $700. Good luck and I hope you learn to buy American from now on!

I would definitely get it checked out ASAP, esp. if it's still pretty warm were you are. It could be that your anti-freeze is low or the compressor may be out. Like I said, you will just have to get someone to check it so you can be sure. Good luck!

Working intermittently may be a sign of a leak. it also may be the ac clutch. Try getting ac recharged if the works after that see how long it works for could be a small leak. You may need to get it recharged once a season. I assume you mean its not blowing cold air rather that it not blowing at all.

I was actually thinking of an electrical wiring problem, but it's an '01 so that shouldn't be a problem.Actually, I just wanted to tell Heidi there that we'll see who's laughing in the bank accounts once we tally up the fuel and maintenance costs between a Honda and any given American vehicle.
