With the new tuir 3 emissions that have come out it does't realy matter wich one you get becouse the gas will get the same fuel efficiency as the diesel. And by 2010 there will be now way for you to tell by smell if it is a diesel or a gas. so I personly whold what for the diesel.

i think that you should go with the civic hybrid because it has ah-mazing gas mileage and even though a diesel one will come out soon, you might as well get a car that will be considered efficient for several year. it gets in the 50's mpg. its ah-mazing. i myself am considering getting one, its at the top of my list!

I'd wait for the diesel version. Diesel engines are amazing and last even longer. VW has been using them for years and I've seen Mercedes Diesel engines lasting 1,000,000 miles!
