Default Dual exhaust on a 91Honda Accord Good or Bad?

Ok so I have the option of putting dual exhuast on my 91 accord. It's F22 cold air intake headers, and performance muffler. Will putting dual exhaust on it help or hurt it's performance? What size piping should I use if I do go with it?Actually it's an LX model and I plan on doing the H22A7 swap later, and I have someone who works at a muffler shop who can do the work for like a third of the cost. I already have the mufflers, one for my accord, and one for my 88 lude, I just figured since my body kit has dual slots maybe I could put dual exhaust it would then be there when I do the swap.

Go ahead, I`m sure that the extra money/ weight out of your wallet will increase performance by 1-3%. It`s a 16 year old car, Get real, after all it was never a performance car to begin with. Save your money for a civic or a prelude.

Save your money bro...not worth the time , effort, and $$ to re-due the piping on a 91 accord. Your car may crap out in a few years...then you'll regret it. If your current muffler does not have full piping..then i suggest you just get a new exhaust system that is fully piped from the headers all the way to the rear...something like a Greddy, or HKS exhaust. I dont know which ones are great for the 91 accords...

Here we go, you will lose back pressure if you go dual since the engine is not producing that much power even if you are on turbo or blown config...although the principle of the exhaust system is blowing out air, it still works like a straw, if you blow a small pebble in a big straw then it will not go that far, of you blow the same pebble on a straw that almost have the same size...you get the idea...cheeers
