Any opinions on the 2001 Honda S2000?

Quite a decent car.If you're buying one make sure about such little details like service history,finance checks,accident damage etc.And most important of all,make sure the correct oil has been used!Check the level daily,because they are known to use quite a bit of oil.Some have expired prematurely with seized engines because of this.Other than that,it's a cracking little car.

It's a great little car. Supurb handling, reliable and ect...The only thing i don't like is the road noise, cheap stereo system, small trunk, lack of practicality and lack of torque. Even with that said, it's still a good car.But i would opt for later years. Even though they are pretty much the same, just some minor differences.the 2000-2001 s2000's have plastic windows, 02+ all have glass. Also the 00/01 cars have stiff suspension and over the years it's gotten softer. And the early cars tend to oversteer more than the later years as well. Which if your not used to experiencing it, that might get you into some trouble. All in all i still enjoy mine.

Fantastic car. Just make sure you take it easy if you have never driven a RWD car before. It does not handle on ice or snow at all without some very specific tire upgrades, so I hope you live in a warm area.Stock stereo is weak, and takes some time to get used to having the car rev so high, but I like it!
