Hey. My Honda wont start. I thought it wasnt getting fuel. It is. So I was told it could be the spark plugs. I tried to check by using the hold end of wire to metal method. I didn't see any spark. I took the top cover off of it(were the rocker arms and stuff are) and there is four holes with the plugs in them. First question is, The outside holes have oil in them. I think it is the seals. Will that be the problem? Second question, The second hole from the left, The socket wont go in it. It will go in all the other ones, but gets stuck halfway through that one. Is there a reason for this or is it just corroded in that one. Please help.

if your car wont start you are looking in the wrong place. you should not take your valve cover off because now you will need to replace the seal but it does sound like it was a bad seal anyways. where you need to look is your distributer cap and rotor. follow your spark plug wires away from the spark plugs. you will find the cap. it will be held on by 3 screws. take that off and i bet it will be all coroded and burt up, it may have also cracked. the rotor is the thing in the middle that is still on the distributor. that is held on by 1 screw. change all that should cost about $35. now about your plug socket getting stuck. check your spark plug wire and see if any of the boot has melted if not you may have a large build up of burnt oil in that chamber.

Try replacing you ignition control module, hondas had alot of these go bad. If it goes bad the car will crank but have no fire. It costs about 50 bucks from honda and is located behind the dash and above the steering column
