Okay guys first time here.

Yesterday i was driving my 98 honda civic, drove it probally 20 miles then i look down and the battery light went on i was okay maybe my battery is not charging. Then the SRS light came on, then my lights dimmed really bad, then the whole dash went out. So i started to head back to my house because i didnt want to stop and wait for a tow truck to come save me. When driving back i guess my car went into limp mode, which i think doesnt allow the car to go over 2,000rpm even tho i didnt know how fast nor how much rpm i was pulling because the whole dash went out. Has this happen to anyone. Today i turned the car on and everything is fine however there is a check engine light on now. which i know i should take it to a shop but i just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem before thanks guys!
