can i put an engine from a 1999 honda prelude motteggi 2.2l into a 1997 honda del sol crx esl?

yes it will fit, you need special motors and make sure you do your timing belt, water pump and any other maitaince. By the way people who say CRX what del sol yes that is what its called in japan and europe

Doing this swap is some wat difficult but nontheless its possible...all is need is motor mounts from Hasport.com to an h22 motor in there...also while u have the motor make sure u do a tune up and change out all that parts that wear out over time...u can also check honda-tech.com and go into a the del sol forum and ask questions in there
