Default I need information on superchargers please help!?

I have a 2005 Honda Civic LX and I read about super chargers on howstuffworks.com. I want to get a centrifuge supercharger because it gives more power to the engine and I also heard that since it puts more air in the engine your car uses less gas? Is this true? If yes by how much more miles would my Civic be getting per gallon?

Save your money and buy something thats worth superchargeing, you can only get but so much power out of a 4 cylinder

Superchargers are intended to make horse power and torque not mileage. If you are looking for mileage stay away from power adders such as turbo's, superchargers and nitrous.

The gas situation is wrong. When you add power to the motor with fored indution (turbo, supercharger) the car will get less gas mileage than stock. Actually the supercharger is worse than a turbo because it is constanlty making power because it is belt driven. Also when supercharging the car it takes more fuel to burn at the boost levels, decreasing gas economy.
