It really depends on what you're looking for. The Matrix and Accord are completely different styles and classes of cars, so it can be difficult to compare. The Matrix is more of an economy class car that would be compared to the Honda Civic whereas the Accord is a mid-size comparable to the Camry. Naturally, the Accord will be a more upscale car with more variety such as a V-6, leather, etc, but at the same time will cost more.Both are reliable and well built, test both and see what fits you best.
