I want a really good sounding muffler and loud at the same time (nothing cheap), i was thinking headers, intake, exhaust, turbo kit, but i want turbo mostly for the sound of the air releasing after each shift of gear. But at the same time i dont know if i should get a power package which comes wit headers exhaust and intakes and if so which, or should i purchase them seperately i need help, i have some ideas of a GReddy turbo kit Greddy evo 2 exhaust, aem short ram intake, dc 4-2-1 ceramic headers...I DONT KNOW! lol i would (greatly) appreciate any help and descriptions on what variations would be affordable but also sound good and drive good. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Sounds like you love sound... You have everything pretty well figured out, but I'd tell you what I'd do. You want to release the power of that vTec SI engine. You could start with an Intake, AEM cold air of course, or the V2 systems are fine but you don't need them.Header will make your car sound powerfull with a full catback system (try one of Tanabe's systems) because although you might like sounding loud, you don't want your car to sound like a 2-stroke dirtbike. Try making your car have a deep, low sound instead of a high-pitched CRX-ricer sound which tuner's hate.A turbo will require you to get proper tubing, so just go for a kit. HKS, Greddy, Garrett. Whatever you want, just choose a package that'll suit you - intercooler, tubing, turbo size. The sound you're referring to is the Blow off valve, which makes a "tshhh" sound after shifting. Love it. You might want to look at engine upgrades such as forged pistons and cam gears. Also suspension is a huge part of modding your car. You're going to be rolling like crazy with that much power on a stock civic chasis. Underbraces, tie rods, sway bars and springs. Tein can help you out with that. Just look at their dampers and see what you need. Wheels (and whatever rims you want) will be your decision. But don't cheap out on suspension if you're getting low-profile tires. I've gone over a bit, but there are tuns of mods out there. These are just basics, man. Hope you have fun it's a huge market out there. Be safe.

1. WWW>HONDA TUNER.COM2. 2.5 inch cat back exhaust system HKS.Skunk works, Greddy. but note " if your going to TURBO it don't buy any exhaust until you get the turbo in because TURBO system require a different exhaust system due to the HEAT generated by the turbo. if you want to spend a little less on a muffler than look into flow master import mufflers online.they will give you the options needed too. 3. DC sports make headers and EDelbrock has TURBO packages for Honda's complete system including mufflers I hope this helps ya in deciding whats what if your still in doubt check out importtuner.com or modifiedmagizineonline these resources have the best info.

OK there seems to be some confusion going on here. First if you want to turbo your car, DO NOT spend the money to get a Cold air intake, headers, or exhaust right now. The reason being is after you turbo it those things would be off the car. I would only suggest 3 turbo kits for your car. They are the Turbonetics, Greddy, or Edelbrock. They are in the $3,500 price range. Now this may seem like alot at the begining, but the cheap kits that you find on Ebay and places like that ARE NOT complete reguardless of what they say. You will ALWAYS have to buy parts with them. Plus they don't have fuel management which if you turbo the car, and no fuel management it goes BOOM!!! Now to put it into perspective the AEM intake, Greddy Exhaust, and DC header would put you at about $1,000. You would see gains of about 13-17 wheel HP with this combination. The turbo kit would give you 80-100 wheel HP now broken down in dollars per hp thats a MAJOR difference.

I to also have a 2000 civic SI but in black lol. If you want a good sounding muffler thats loud i would say maybe HKS or Greddy. Me I don't really like my car to loud because i dont want to me to noticed by people and i dont want to want it to be the reason why i get pulled over so i went with a Tanabe hyper madeline for the low deep sound. If you want a good turbo for the SI i was told Turbonetics but you have to always keep doing oil changes and always working on the turbo. I think the best for the SI is maybe HKS since i dont know to mucha bout turbo for SI's and the dc headers you asked for is pretty much what i have and it works great. Instead of short ram intake i would rather go with cold air since thats what i have but the bad thing is you have to be carful with water since its more lower.
