emissions light comes on when something that affects the mixture in your car is detected by your computer. It could be many things. Your spark plug could misfire or your timing could be off. Have it checked. It won't kill you to drive your car, but it will cost you more because your car's not driving efficiently.

Those light is there so you know that your car is NOT running correctly. If you plan to take it to the dealer, don't worry. There's nothing going to go bad because of it.But it is a good thing that you are asking. Because often small problem ends up becoming big problem if not take care of immediately - but this isn't one of them.Good Luck.

sometimes something as silly as not replacing the fuel cap properly will cause the light to trip on but since it is a new honda(great cars) i would assume its still under warranty i would say any major malfunctions(not highly likely)could be covered as long as you have made no alterations so take it to be looked at but make sure not to rush straight home alot of the time they reset the light do not resolve the issue and it turns back on a mile or two down the road!!

umm, the chances are that the O2 scensor caught something not running right, so now the prob is to just to take it to the dealer to get the thing checked out, it's no big deal!!
