Default Is there anything I should know about the HONDA ACORD LX?

My Honda is new so far it is ok. It drives good and good on gas but is there anything to look out for?

look online for reviews and recalls on the car. all you'll get on here is a bunch of people saying "mine did this" - but that could just be a result of their driving style or abuse. You'll also find people like the one above that bash honda's - they're fine cars. don't let them get to you. Use google to search for recalls on your model/year accord, and try to find an online forum. They will have all sorts of information on how to fix problems with your car, and they'll be willing to help you if you do come into some problems.

Honda's are great cars. You need to maintain them, and make sure to follow the service guide in the owners manual. Make sure to replace the timing belt/water pump at the service interval. These cars last a very long time if maintained.

Honda's are generally excellent cars.4 cyl models cost less to maintain and repair than 6 cyl moderls.Otherwise, parts are available and mechanics know how to fix them. I have a '91 Accord Wagon. When I have a problem, I have the Honda dealer parts department print out a blow up diagram with part numbers. Then I order the parts on eBay.Honda parts which cost $200 can be purchased online for $50.Good luck, - CarlD
