up until yesterday my preferance would have been the coupe. but then a sedan owner told me to go with the sedan because the coupe looks like a mercury cougar and its tiny inside. and now my mind is leaning towards the sedan, he is totally right, but what are the differances in performance. is the sedan just a little heavier. if i choose the sedan on looks, will i really be missing anything from the coupe?

bro, excellent question. i'm looking to upgrade from an 06 LX coupe to an 08 SI. i kept going back and forth between which size i really wanted. i've finally decided to stick with the coupe.what helped me come to a conclusion was TEST DRIVING both. i HIGHLY recommend you do just that, if you haven't done so already.3 things i don't like about the sedan:doesn't quite have that sporty look like the coupenot crazy about the tail lights and back end as a wholefog lamps don't look as nice on this size as they do on the coupe.also, it's easier to park the coupe (not difficult to park sedan).i do like that the sedan is roomier. i'm 5'11, and if someone sits behind me in my LX coupe, i have to move up my seat- which sucks. not in the sedan.a SI is sporty- and the sedan takes away from that sporty look, so get the coupe. otherwise get a body kit for the sedan, or get the mugen edition sedan (comes with body kit).there's no difference in performance. same specs. and you're right- sedan is a little heavier.
