CRX. Lucky, they're cool cars. Tons of upgrades available for it.

The first poster is an idiot, the MR2 is a Toyota. Currently there are two 2 seaters in Honda's lineup, one of which is a hatchback. The S2000 - convertibleThe Insight - hybrid/hatchbackThere have also beenel Sol - 2 seat coupe with removable hardtopNSX - sold in US as an Acura - in other countries as a Honda - 2 seat coupe with or without removeable hardtopCRX - 2 seat hatch. Most likely you are talking about a CRX - see this link: little coupe, you are a lucky kid!good luck

The only ones that meet all those requirements are the CRX and Insight. I would suspect that it is a CRX. That is a ridiculously fun car, especially when you bump up the power.A Civic can come as a hatch, but has 5 seats.None of these qualify as a hatch: Del sol (which is also a Civic), Prelude, NSX (which is a high performance car, so I highly doubt they bought that for you without knowing what it is), and the super-fun S2000 (which is another doubtful one); you can cross them off the list.

it's either an insight or a crx. i'd bet money it's a crx. hope it was well maintained- a friend of mine got 280,000 miles + on his. fyi- preludes were not 2 seaters. backseat was uncomfortable as hell, but it was present. unlike the crx, there were seatbelts in the back. a prelude is considered 2 + 2. 2 seats in the front, 2 seats in the back. all honda cars aforementioned in other posts are correct for being 2 seaters (but not hatches).
