Default Do the aftermarket wind deflectors work well to reduce wind noise from the moonroof?

The wind noise from the moon roof is irritating on the highway, particularly in the tilt up position. Seems that it doesn't open much. The noise is a high pitched hum. With the moonroof rolled back the noise is lower pitched but just as irritating.

I've had cars both with and without the wind deflectors and I thought that it did make a difference in reducing wind noise by using one.
