Default Why A/C Compressor Making Noise & Not Cooling Idling..?

I own a 92 Model EG8 Fuel Injected Automatic Civic & ever since i bought this vehicle three A/C Compressors (FOREIGN USED) i changed cause after checking for leaks & Oiling the unit if Needed the A/C Guys Install Gas up & the A/C Cools Good for a Few days...After the A/C Compressor starts to make a Loud Ticking Noise When the car Idling & ONLY Cools when the car is Driving @ high Speeds....It's the third Compressor i changed over a Year & a few Months...It's Very Costly & anyone with this problem i'll appreciate it if i can get Advice to deal with this issue..What can i do to prevent this..? Try a Different Compressor like a EK3 ?

That is definitely the compressor problem. 92 hondas tend to have this problem i realised. I have changed a used compressor and the ticking sounds stayed but not as loud. My best advice is to change a brand new compressor instead of a used unit. unless you can do without the aircon. bearing the pain of changing a brand new unit is better than changing a couple of times and the problem still remained.

make sure your fans are on when u have your ac on if not it will sky rocket the pressures and can kill a compressor in a heartbeat!
