Default Is it possible for a stick shift car (Honda Accord 92) be reconstructed into an automatic?

my car drives just like a stick. When Im changing different speeds, it almost feels like its shifting itself .the car is an AUTOMATIC right now, but it drives like a stick.

yes it is possible , but not worth doing, you would need a new trans, mounts, computers, wiring harness center console, and all of the shifting linkage, you would be talking big bucks and a lot of work. And it sounds like you have a slipping clutch.

you could, but because of the age of the car youd be better off just finding a stick version of your car. reguardless to how it feels when your driving, you dont have a manually operated clutch, a gear slector, so it isnt going to drive a stick. you could convert it if you really wanted to, but it'll cost about 3 times as much as your car is worth.

Isn't that the purpose of an automatic? It's supposed to shift by itself. Hence AUTOMATIC.

An automatic transmission is supposed to shift by itself. Under normal conditions you put the car in the highest drive gear and it will shift automatically based upon your speed and how hard you press on the gas pedal. You shouldn't manually shift an automatic transmission under normal driving conditions.
