engine is making real loud noise and Im sure it is a rod and or main bearings. how much should they charge me to replace them?thank you before hand

Consider how much the car is worth to you before you put cash into it... A new rebuilt motor is what I would suggest, using the old motor as a "core" trade in. You are looking at 3 grand in repairs. They are gonna have to pull the motor out of the vehicle to repair it anyway.If the car is really sharp and nothing else is wrong with it...go for it...if not 3 grand can get you another decent car.
