I wouldn't buy it. Theres always bad things that come with a salvaged car. If $2500 isn't a big loss then go for it otherwise I wouldn't get it.

Thats alot for 160K miles, just make sure you can get that car registered, I bought a car with a salvaged title in Louisiana and they wouldnt let me register it cuz the title was from Georgia...weird.... was a headache....

It depends on why it is a salvage car. If it is collision damage, and it was fixed right, then it would be fine. But, if it is because of water damage, run away.

Only needs a transmission engine tires battery and new shocks axles and paint job. There is a reason it ended up in the Auto Salvage... They Hate the term Junk Yard. Or did you mean it has a salvage title? You could find a better deal on 12 year old Hondas. E-Bay Motors and local classifieds. You almost have a down payment on a new car. The knowledge that your car will start every day and you can get to your job to pay for it is something.

Don't buy it. That means it was totaled and someone fixed it. It lowers the value of the car to almost nothing and you don't know if this guy actually fixed it properly.
