The mileage is a little over 155,000, new brake, new water pump, new timing belt. What do you all think, will this baby make a 1200 miles trip? Any suggestion? or i should rent a car for the trip?I bought this car 2 months ago, it has been running really well.

Just to be sure, have extra oil on hand...older cars tend to burn oil easier. And just check all the fluids and tire tread before you leave. Simple things that should be done anyway. Oh and check the spark plugs too. And 155000 is nothing on a Honda. Have fun!

Yea, it's a Honda. Dont worry about any reparis and such, have faith in your Civic. Honda engines can last up to 300,000+ if you take of it. You wont need alot of repairs, you'll probably need some gas and thats about it. 1200 x 2 = 2400 so you wont need an oil change.
Have fun. |
