Default Why is the 2008 Honda Accord Sedan so ugly, and the coupe so nice?

I completely understand that the coupe version of cars are normally more aestically pleasing, but its like night and day. The sedan is ghastly while the coupe rivals the sexiest of new coupes ( G6 Coupe, Altima Coupe).@Hugh, I was speaking solely of the exterior of the G6 Coupe.

It's a matter of opinion. It is what it is.

Honda in general is Ugly. The only car keeping Honda alive is the Civic craze of teenagers.Although I might want an Accord coupe Myself your'e right the Sedan is ugly. It looks like they took a step backwards.

Your right. The sedan model kind of looks like a TSX/IS250/tC. Looks kinda funky. haha. I like the coupe more, but i hate the back end of it. To me, the back end of the sedan looks better.

ugliest design by far, has none of the high end options that are on the new altima, no HID lights, turning signals on the mirrors, no blue tooth unless you fork out $$$ for the navi option and worse gas mileage .

The Coupe is quite striking, I agree! The Sedan is still a little too mainstream and really breaks no new design ground, but not ugly, just very average. Well the Camry, Impala and Sonata are no beauty queens either. But the nice thing about New Honda Accords, it will be a better car overall than the previous model and will still be one of the best in class. 268HP is not too bad at all for a family sedan..G6? Sexy with a push rod V6, below average interior quailty and harsh drivetrain with a dinosaur speed auto? The Altima is not a bad looking car, but too jellybean for me..

I think it is okay but honda needs to stop using timing belts in thier V6 engines, most other companies are using timing chains.
