I just purchased a 2007 honda civic in North Dakota, & I live in Canada I want to switch the outside temperature gauge to Celsius has anyone done this before? & could you provide instructions. The ironic thing is the car is made in Canada.

Sorry to say but you cannot change the display for the outside temperature by using the select/reset functions. The US models and Canadian models are different and that's all the owners manual says. You can't switch between the two scales on the meter.you may want to check with your dealer to see if the temperature sensor under the front bumper is different for US and Canadian models. If its different, then changing the sensor may be enough to change the calibration of the display. I wouldn't bet on it as it may also be a function of the gauge cluster, but it is a possibility. I can assure you that there's no way you can change the value of the display from the cockpit.hope that answers your question.
