Default honda accord '88 stalling problem?

88 accord lxi, with the 2.0 After the car warms up, it idles and runs fine, but intermitantly it stalls when taking off from a stop. adjusted idle, and replaced plugs and airfilter. I don't know where to go from here, i'm thinking a fuel problem but i'm not sure. Any suggestions on where to look would be great.

Research Vapor Lock. It can cause stalling when taking off from a dead stop.

it might be the fuel pump i had a problem where my car would idle ant lights and shake and wasn't good i took it in and the fuel pump was bad and the fuel injectors were bad. OK try this go to any car store or a gas station and pick up some fuel injector cleaner and poor it into the gas tank and by the time the tank is empty their might be a difference. just try that first because its alot cheaper for you to do it than a mechanic.good luck

Fuel pump. Does that car have a carburator? Check the float level.

Had the same problem with my POS '86 LXi that I sold years ago, in part because of the problem. LOL. It's a 20 year old car, look around for something newer..instead of throwing parts at it.
