I have a 1990 honda accord with a 1998 vtec engine in it and somedays days it will start and go all day but other days it won't start no matter what I do. What do you think this could be?Yes it does have a 1998 motor. I did an engine swap.

The starter motor might have a bad spot on it.

Could be a computer issue.

depends what you mean by wont start? wont crank at all ? or just cranks and dosent start?

For Starters Its a Honda , Little rice burner (Go-Kart) motor and its old Either your Battery is going to kick the buckett soon or your altanater is going out then again it could be the starter itself .....good luck on that one

Check the connections for the following ; Fuel pump, ignition and earth strap

Same problem... alrite check the battery and its connections. 2nd inside check if you have the high beams or low beams on. 3rd check if you left the sterio on. 4th check the Spark plug wires + spark plugs of the connection. 5th check the sirpentien belt to see if its lose. 6th check the altornator.... HOPE IT HELPS!!!!!

the only experience Ms. D has is with a pole. Are you sure its a 1998 motor and not a 1990-1993 Motor? Look at the motor code it should be by header and the tranny. Whats does it read F22... A1.A2. does it do this when its hot out side? where your driver side is left foot is do you hear a click everytime the car starts and not when it dosent start it could be your fuel rely
