Its a car with a bed. If you need a truck keep on looking.

if you are looking for a truck, no, dont go with the ridgeline. they are built more like a car, so you cannot tow or haul as much as other 1/2 ton pickups. if you are looking for a pickup. take a look at the new chevrolet 1500, the Ford F150, or the Dodge Ram 1500. the ridgeline just isnt a very solid truck.http://www.fordvehicles.com/trucks/f...com/silverado/

Depends on your needs. As some of the other posts have pointed out, it doesn't have as much towing capacity as some of the other comparably sized trucks. Of course, it was never meant to, which is why the Honda only offers a six to the other's 8 cylinders. How often are you going to tow that 6000 lb boat, though? For most "truck" owners it more than serves its purpose. The interior is roomy, it does have a 5k tow rating for smaller items such as pop-ups, 17 ft tow behinds, most boats, etc. The ride is considerably better than most trucks and the in-bed trunk is very handy. For further advice, read the professional reviews of Edmunds or Autobytel.
