Default 2007 Honda CRV owners... QUESTION??

I am thinking of buying one. Please tell me your opinion of the vehicle. Most importantly, I notice that it is lower horespower than my crappy Jetta, and I want to know how the pick up is. The Jetta cannot get up to speed without flooring it, especially if the AC is on. Thanks!!

HA! You think your going to get better pick up speed with a Honda CRV? I dont think so! Lower horsepower first of all tells it all. Second if your Jetta is automatic thats says it there as well. I have a Jetta GLi 6 speed and it gets up and goes. Sporty too. No complaints and n on hills im the first one up trying to pass people. Any automatic car sucks! If you want get up and go- go with standard transmission and a lil more horsepower sweetie!

I am a big fan of the new CRV. Yes the pick up is not the best, but this is a 4 cylinder. My Accord, when it was new seemed to have better pick up speed, but still the car and its track record are awesome. It took some time, but I ame enjoying the color and the style as there are other changes you may no about as well. I do not have any doubt thought that it will last for a good 250,000 if maintained properly. Honda by far has a great engine.

I owned a 2006 model CRV which is the one before the latest model. I still prefer this ealier version. The new model undercarriage shares the same one as the Civic. But overall it's a good car except that fuel consumption is bit on the high side. Good view of vehicles in front though.
