what does em2 mean and ep3 for hondas so on and so on?

They are chassis codes. Unfortunately people tend to throw out Japanese model chassis codes, when they are referring to a specific body style of a USDM car. Like how people often call the '92-'95 Civic hatchbacks an EG6, but in reality all USDM '92-'95 hatchbacks are either EH2 or EH3.Here is a link of legitimate chassis codes: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/1928390
