Default Belts on my honda?

The serpertine belts on my 1991 honda accord squeel like crazy at start up. I have replaced the belts and it is not as bad but still bad. Ive used everything from belt dressing to windex. I don't want to have to take the belts off again. any ideas

i am not a believer of belt dressings.. they are not tensioned correctly or an acessory is beginning to lock up

It could also be your belt tensioner and idler pulley causing the problem. You should probably replace them.

The tension is wrong, if they are adjustable, you have the belts too loose, if they have an automatic tensioner, the tensioner is weak and needs to be replaced because it isnt putting enough tension on the belts, hence the squeek

91 Accords use micro V belts, with manual adjustment,if squeal on start up,then alternator belt is loose.Belt dressing or windex only make problem worse.
