No, they don't all have VTechs in them. I don't know what size engine is in your car, but there are only a few different VTechs in a few Civics, they being the 1.5L VTech, 1.6 SR model, the VTi, SIR and TypeR civics. any of the others, the 1.6 Lsi model, the 1.6 ils model. My theory is buy a VTi, SIR or TypeR Civic and then stick you're turbo in. It strikes me as a risky and costly venture to get a VTech put in a civic that doesn't have one. For starters, you've to find and buy VTech, get it installed, that could take a while, and then get your engine management readjusted to suit the running of the VTech. Hopefully thats some help to you

Like the post above me said. Its not goddamn Vtech. its VTEC. Valve Timing and lift Electronic Control. Anyway, no not all Civic Ex has VTEC. You have to pay extra for it to make it a VTEC, because it's an extra option. You should know your engine has VTEC if you get a boost at high RPMS or if you open the hood, it should say VTEC.

Wow let me start by saying Honda Civics are cars, seems like the people on here didnt understand that. Yes all model Honda civic EX 92-00 Have a SOHC D16Y8(92-95 Ex/Si D16Z6) pushing 127HP. Who ever say is not inculding and optional is an idot. You mean in Civic model there where different models and you could of choosen which came with vtec and not. But all EX are vtec.Turbo question having vtec and not having vtec dosent make a difference when putting boost not bust in your motor, its all about tune tune tune tune tune larger injectors colder plugs and a great tune can make a huge difference 6-8psi max on stock internals, Garrett GT28R turbo, Hondata.com ecu chip it be worth it
