yes it can BUT there is a lot of work that needs to happen. the best way for you to get info is to go to a site like www.honda-tech.com and do a search. that motor is called a B16A and your car is called a EF body style civic. there is a wealth of information since many people have performed that conversion before.It would be easiest if you purchased whole Del Sol or at least the front half of the car, because there will be a lot of miscellaneous parts from the Del Sol you would need. If you have just the engine and transmission, it will be more work for you, since you have to purchase the parts on your own.good luck! your civic will be a lot of fun after that swap.
