What is your question? New cars these days usually come with a decent set of speakers and stereo (head unit). If you are looking to change it and you are on a budget, i would suggest getting a head unit first, the speakers are all pretty good on new cars so that can wait. Most of todays head unit will have cd and 4x50 watt outputs. Get something that is subwoofer ready if you are looking to get subs. Also check for compatibility with mp3 players.A decent one from pioneer or alpine will be about 200usd.

if you're doing it yourself, you will need to change the brackets and the cover over the radio and a/c controls. you can find an aftermarket cover or buy the cover for the dx model. i believe the brackets to use would come off an older CRV model. do some research because the job is not easy and it's obviously gonna cost you.
