Its pretty easy to install a turbo if you have basic knowledge of the motor. The great thing about hondas is that you can pick up a nice used b18 for less than a $1000 and drop it in yourself in an afternoon. My advice, find a friend that you know that has basic knowlege of a motor, go to the performance shop, and ask for a basic 8psi turbo. The kit with all the trimmings should set you back less than 3500 for a decent one and it will have basic intructions with it. If you have no friends.................... Go to skunk2racing.com and you can drop your car off with them and for a cool $5000 (approx) you will pick your car up in a day or two with an extra 100+ hp. So in aswer to your question.... "What should I do???" Spend a bunch of cash to upgrade a honda or spend a couple grand and get a used early 90s mustang 5.0 that will beat a civic with 3-5 grand dumped in it. you decide. Remember "there is no replacement for displacement!" but "RICE IS CHEAPER!!!"

To the guy who said ebay, don't listen to him. Ebay non brand aftermarket products suck. Yes they are cheap, but they are horrible and you never really get the real boost you are looking for.AnywaysFirst you need to understand about cars, how the vtec engine works, in relation to pistson, camshafts, headers and everything elseSecond you should get a gReddy turbo kit. its the most popular for civic, and most are bolt it. gReddy turbo bolt in kits are made for begininer hence the easy installation.Third you should snoop around civic forum. Get an account and its free. Start asking questions and researching stuff.http://www.hondacivicforum.com/
