aha, car thief. each one has a unique code to identify it, making Honda radios harder to steal..cough cough

you need to contact the Honda dealer with your vin number and if you are lucky they will give you the access code

Sounds just like a Volkswagen stock radio. I don't know if they are the same but usually on the radio itself you will have to pull it out there will be a VIN number on the metal of the radio you'll need that. Next you'll need your VIN of your car. You'll need to call a dealership with both and see if they will give it to you over the phone. Know this if your car and radio do not match up they wont give you the number. I had to do this when i changed the battery on my Jetta. They may make you come into the dealership and then give it to you

it has to be retrieved by dealer and they will give you the radio code for about $50 or maybe nothing along with proof of ownership and driver license upon request.
