i want to buy this engine http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...&item=30007but i have 2 questions1- will everything bolt right up to the civic like wires and hoses and a/c2- since i live in cali will it pass smog

I would say it will bolt in But it may not wire up if your car is not a 94-01 like the ad states, you may have to get some electronics from a donor car. As far as passing smog - that depends on your air fuel mix, and your exhaust system.

griffon is right... I did find a b18 turbo ek for sale on autotrader, and went and looked at it.. he said that he passes emissions, but that is in the modified / roadster class of the mvc here... he thinks it will fail miserably in cali, and other states of higher regulations then NJ lol

will not knowing the cali laws on emissions idk if it past. One thing would be call hmotors since there in Cali and ask. The b18B Ls motor will swap into your EK, you need mounts from hasport motor mounts, get an integra shift linkage and shorten it for you model, axles are different. Swap is basic everything is bolt on, harnesses are the same, note if your motor is OBD1 you need to convert your EK OBD1 with a jumper harness at rywire.com if you dont feel sure on the swap seek a local performance shop it shouldnt cost you more then $3000 for the whole thing.
