I have a 96 prelude with the 2.2 liter sohc non vtec motor. It will crank and run for up to 20 minutes fine but then it will for some reason cut off. The lights and radio will all stay on but the motor completely dies. IT will crank back up after that but some times it takes a few tries to get it to crank after it has cut off. What could be causing this?

my friend had the same problem. all we did with his is clean or replace the air filter, changed the plugs, added a fuel additive to a tank of fuel jet cleaner i think it was aslo could be fuel line problem a garage shouldnt charge much too check it up wouldnt advise doing it yourself as its bloody dangerous. or the dreaded ecu

check all vacuum hoses. Your distributor might be dead. check all ground wires. chagne your fuel filter
