I am looking for the best repair manual that is based on a complete teardown and rebuild. One that covers every square inch of the car. From changing oil to engine overhaul.

The Helm manuals are the same as the factory service manuals. can't get better than that.

Chilton's brand manuals are the oldest, best, and most commonly used service manuals and are available at most national auto parts retailers, or through their website listed below.

both helms and clinton are good I used both

The expensive, factory TSM ( Technical Service Manual ) are THE best. Dealerships don't use Helms or Chilton's, they use their own factory manual, which you can usually purchase thru the parts dept., but they don't come cheap. $100 is the usual for a single year model manual. Covers just about everything, though. Except body. You need a different manual for that.
