Default wheel alignment cant be done. m looking for a car part name!?

I went to have a wheel alignment for my Honda CRV 98" and they could not do it , cos i need to have installed some part before a wheel alignment is done. they quoted me $195 for the part, so i tried to look on the net for it to see if i can find it cheaper, but i forgot the name of it.So my question is if anyone knows the part name ,i would really appriciate. thank you.PS: its 12:40 am here and cant contact them at this time! cant sleep so i was thinking to look on the net for the part.

Could be a dozen different things. Call them and ask what part.

YOU HAVE TO modify a Honda to do a front end alignment??? I never heard of such a thing. Are you sure these guys are honest??Sticking to American cars.

Most likely it is an outer tie-rod end that needs to be replaced. But it could also be the Lower Ball Joint. Best thing to do is to wait till morning and call them back. And try to get some sleep.

it might be the camber/toe. the stock honda's are not adjustable so you'd have to buy/install an adjustable one.
