Default 87 honda prelude engine swap?

i blew a head gasket about a year ago and everything went out with it (barons, etc) i dont want to go out and buy another car so i want to do an engine swap. i was thinking along the lines of a h22 or maybe just something small as a b16 or 18. i know this will require the changing of the transmission along with the front axel but i just want an expert on the matter to tell me what is the best thing to do and where can i do it (websites) and if it is worth it or should i just save up and buy another car thanks alot

for an 87... I've seen successful H22 swaps.. but they where a pain due to the size difference in the blocks... but honestly I'd say just save for a newer car.. the work won't be worth it... "it's not your car till you bleed on it"

my advice is **** buying a new engine and all that stuff. the cost of the engine and installation is ATLEAST twice the value of an 87 prelude. even if the engine worked or you put in a new one, you WOULDNT GET ANYTHING for an 87 so just sell what you have left. dont expect more than a couple thousand if the body is in good condition. hondas are known for their bulletproof engines. put in a new one and no one will want it. people buy hondas because their factory engines are AMAZING.
