You would be able to use a clamp. Meaure everything else carefully so that you don't end up with clearance issues if you are going any other route other than OEM or "OEM fitment"I have used a hacksaw with a good quality blade to remove old exhaust work. There are many quicker ways, but none cheaper. Look out for rust in the eyes. Wear eye protection and always use jack stands on level ground if you need to jack it up.
