I have a 1995 Honda Accord and none of the gauges besides the speedometer work. if i were to replace it would I have to buy one with the same amout of miles or could I just replace it with a new one? I'm not sure if the miles meter is built in with it or if it is just an extra part you slide into the plastic...also i had put 20 dollars in gas in it about a week ago and havn't drove it since and i went to start it up the other day and it didn't start, the starter worked but it sounded like it wasn't getting gas so i bought gas in a fuel container and poured it in and it started, could someone explain to me why this could have happened? What will I need to replace on it? I looked under the car and there wasn't any leaks...and i always lock the car and you can only open the gas container from inside the car so i know nobody stole my gas...im just so confused...please help !!!

Replacing the guages is not a problem since the speedo works. You can buy another set of used guages and put your speedo/odo into it so that your miles are correct. As for as not starting, the fuel relay under the dash is usually the reason for it not getting fuel. Turn the key to the on position and listen to see if you hear a whine or buzzing sound for about a second in the gas tank. if not, replace fuel relay, if you hear it, I would say to check the computer and the distributor.
