I know I can use an FM transmitter thing, but what about the Aux button? I heard you can connect your Ipod through that. Is that true? If so, how? If not, then what can I do? Thanks!

Yes, you can plug the iPod through the AUX jack, it is done with an AUX cable (it has one head on each end of the cable) and you just plug the cord to the iPod on one end, and connect the other head to the AUX jack on your Civic. The AUX jack should be near the lighter/power outlet

r a is correct about the location of the AUX jack, but the 2006 Civic LX did not have that. It only came in the EX. In the 07 LX they added the AUX jack. If you can find one they made a iPOD Music Link Adapter Kit, but it is discontinued. Good Luck.

Yeah just plug the iPod through the AUX jack

I just bought a 2008 Civic LX 5spd Coupe and I even brought my ipod along for the test drive knowing about the aux. jack.

Now that i own the car I have been using a 12 volt charger and the aux. jack. It sounds much better than the 12 volt Charger/FM transmitter I used in my old car. My only gripe is that the charger plugs in the bottom and the 1/8" in the top of my ipod.

I was hoping some one has seen a 12 volt charge with an 1/8" out put. It would be a great product and if I understand the concepts a very simple electronic device.

I am trying to clean up the cables around my shifter for safety and looks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
