You may remember my other question entitled; I'm going to test drive this vehicle, found herehttp://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...1103831AAnGGpP Well i listened to the answers Loud and clear, I compared mileage to similar SUV's and models, and they were right it was high. I figured If i was gong to finance, I might as well get a car I know will last me a very long while. So I found this car....http://www.trader.ca/powerpage/frame...=6182619&m=2#A far cry from the original SUVhttp://www.carpages.ca/go/Listing/68488.aspxBut I wanted your opinion:How much does a SUV like this go for? Is there anything YOU see that I "wont" because being excited is getting the best of me?What am I looking for? (besides the obvious mildew smell, rust in places where it shouldn't be, inspect in the day and don't just kick the tires. lol)

Well this looks like a fine example of a CRV but find out what trim level it is.They came in the following LX 2 wd-LX 4wd and EX 4wd all with or without Side impact airbagsI am a bit concerned because the listing says it has leather interior and there was no leather offered in the factory trims in any 04 CRV nor was there any heated mirrors on any trim. This could be the result of someone not really knowing what car they were listing and going off of a checklist that had been filled out incorrectly. From the wheels and description it appears that this is an EX 4wd which means it should also have a moonroof but that is not listed in the description.I own one of these vehicles and I can assure you you will be making a very smart decision getting this vehicle. You have an engine that has a timing chain not a timing belt so there will never be an issue with replacement at a specific # of miles.Strong engine Good traction and outstanding safety ratingsLook for a history report such as a carfax to see if this car has ever been in a wreck or been damaged by fire flood or hail.Look for rust on the little swing arm that helps the rear door to stay open and helps it close.Look for evidence that the hood or the doors have ever been removed by looking at the bolts that hold them on. If they are not painted the same color as the car or if they have obvious wrench marks you should question why they have had to be removed.Make sure all the windows have a Honda Insignia on them so you will know if the glass has ever been replaced.ask for a copy of the safety inspection and what they did to the car to make it ready for sale.hope this helps you are welcome to ask me any questions you want. These are great cars I would highly recommend the year you are asking about
