Default Who makes the Honda Passport?

I know that sounds like a silly question but I was told that Izusu made the Honda Passport. Since a lot of companies are owned by other companies I figured this was feasible!

The Honda Passport is the same basic vehicle as the Isuzu Rodeo. It was a quick solution for Honda, who had no truck/suv vehicle at the time. The Acura SLX was also from Isuzu.Honda does not own Isuzu, or vice-versa, it was a working partnership, and Honda supplied some cars for Isuzu in return.

Why does it matter if Izuzu or Honda made the car? It's not like it makes the car any better if one made it instead of the other. If you want a quality car go for Euro's

The Honda Passport is a re-badged Isuzu Rodeo. Isuzu made the Passport in the same assembly line as the Rodeo. Honda wanted to get its foot in the door to the SUV market, and looked to Isuzu in a partnership agreement. Neither company owns the other.
