Yes you would be able to supercharge it. Yes it can still be on an auto tranny. All 7-8 second cars on the tracks are mostly automatics. Yes the tranny can handle the power but you would have to upgrade the gear ratio. If you really needed to change the manual non a b18b it would roughly be at least $800, depending on what you want out of it. Instead of doing a b18b swap do a mini me swap (dy7 block with a dy8 head). The only downside that I can think of is you would have to buy new motor mounts.

i am pretty sure the auto Bseries tranny won't fit in that engine bay... you could do whatever you wanted to the B18 once you had it in there... that's not the point right now though... the automatic tranny, i'm sure won't fit... i think it's too big... if you were able to fit it in there, you would want to get a new torque converter to hand the extra torque and power you'd be putting down with the added power addative... i.e. supercharger/turbocharger... changing your car from auto to manual would be pointless... too much money for nothing... you'd be better off buying a new car with a maunal tranny already... if you're wanting power... D16s work great with turbochargers... they make plenty of power and not a whole lot of work needs to be done to put them on... good luckoh, and by the way... doing a mini me swap does NOT need new motor mounts... i had that on my last civic that i did myself...

First lets attack this in a two part answer.1) B18B swap LS non vtec 140HP fits in an auto car with auto trans, hasport.com might make the tranny mounts check them out.2) Supercharger other then vortec Jackson racing makes them and they have 6-10psi pullys. you be pushing on an 8psi pully about 180whp and that alone wont kill your tranny but down shifting and and Netural dropping will. I suggest you to change fluids when the swap is done and then consider a 5-speed swap since auto in Hondas dont last long(trust me) and 5-speed is faster

If you want to put in a B18B engine you have to change the ecu, the tranny, the harness, and motor mounts. You have to get a auto B18A tranny because the D16's tranny won't fit. You can supercharge it too. changing the car to stick is going to cost alot of money I say professionally done $2500. The down side to having a auto is that it maybe a little slower but throw in a turbo or supercharger and you set.
